Kansai Paint Pakistan with its modern, world class manufacturing facility in Lahore has a dominant share in Automotive paints business and is enjoying steady growth in decorative, refinish and industrial coating markets.

In the automobile paint business, Kansai Pakistan is supplying car paints to Toyota, Suzuki, Nissan, Honda, Hino, Sigma, Hyundai, Yamaha and Baluchistan wheels. The Company has been in the Pakistan automotive market since 1992.  

With the establishment of Kansai Paint (Pvt.) Ltd. in Pakistan, Kansai has introduced a whole range of products including CED (Cathode Electro Deposition), top coats, automotive, refinish and decorative products, leveraging its cutting-edge technology. It is the first plant in Pakistan which is manufacturing CED paint for the OEM sector based on full transfer of technology and back-up support from Kansai Paint Japan.

Kansai decorative products were launched in April, 2009. They have around three hundred dealers across eighty-seven cities of Pakistan. Their deco products include emulsions for interior and exterior, enamels, pre-deco products, wood finish and texture paints.

In the area of automotive refinish paints,while the market in Japan has been shrinking, we have been working to promote the sales of environment-friendly products. We have also begun marketing water-based top coats and a new color matching system that can provide color information via the internet, resulting in increased sales compared with the previous term for this area as well.

In the automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) segment, Kansai Paint is number one in Japan with the major market share. Kansai also has the leading paint share in Toyota and Suzuki worldwide.
