Help Farzana Bring Her Child Safely into the World
Farzana, a 25-year-old woman from Karachi, anxiously awaits the birth of her third child. As she has a previous history of two C-section surgeries, she consulted with a gynecologist about her condition. Her doctor has made it clear that a C-section can ensure both her and her baby’s safety. Without this surgery, both lives are at risk.
Due to her condition, she faces difficulty in performing household tasks and taking care of her two young children. The anxiety due to her high-risk pregnancy is adding to the burdens in her life. She looks forward to welcoming her unborn child but her life is also overshadowed by fear and uncertainty of financial hardships.
Farzana lives in a one-room rented house with her husband and two young children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 22000 per month. Their financial situation is stretched thin with a rent of PKR 10,000, and utility bills amounting to PKR 5,000. There are no savings left to pay for the much-needed surgery. Every day, Farzana wonders how they will afford this life-saving surgery. In their search for help, Farzana and her husband contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Farzana’s husband said in despair:
“All I want is the safety of my wife and my unborn child. I work really hard, but I can’t afford the cost of her much-needed C-section surgery. My child’s life will be at risk if Farzana can’t undergo the procedure. This surgery is our only hope. Please help us in this time of need.”
With a history of two C-sections, attempting a natural birth is far too risky. Without this surgery, Farzana’s life and the life of her unborn child hang in the balance.
We urge you to help Farzana bring her child into this world safely. Your donation can make a world of difference for this family.
