Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 28th June 2019 at Masjid Muktoob School, Mandi Ahmadabad, Karimabad Depalpur, Okara. The camp was set up with the collaboration of Ameer Begum Welfare Trust and our kind supporters.

During this one-day medical camp, 422 patients availed free medical consultation service by the team of Transparent Hands. Visitors of all age groups were provided free checkup facility, medicines and diagnostic services including blood, sugar, etc. Many patients were suffering from dehydration, gastroenteritis and skin infections. Due to extremely hot weather, they also complained about fatigue and muscle pain.

In the camp, 56 patients were tested for Hepatitis B & C infection based on their symptoms. Among them, 8 cases were found HCV positive. Doctors identified 11 surgical cases and they were pre-registered with Transparent Hands for free surgical treatment related to cardiac defect, goiter and ear infection.

I’d like to thank Ms. Rubina Shaheen Wattoo for providing us a venue for the medical camp and to all the volunteers who took part in this camp.” – Ms Rameeza Mueen
