Collaboration with PCHF to Conduct Free Heart Surgeries of Poor Children

More than 30,000 infants in Pakistan are born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) every year. Among these patients, there are thousands of families who cannot afford to pay for the expensive treatment to treat heart disease and lose their child.

In order to address this issue, Transparent Hands has collaborated with Pakistan Children Heart Foundation (PCHF). Both the organizations signed an MOU on 8th January, 2019 at University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. The MOU was signed by Ms. Rameeza Mueen (CEO) Transparent Hands and Mr. Farhan Ahmad (Chairman) PCHF in presence of their brand ambassador Misbah-ul-Haq.

On this occasion, Misbah-ul-Haq said that, “The key to live a good life is to help others as much as you can and I think both the organizations are doing tremendous job in supporting the poor child patients across Pakistan. Everyone should come forward and support them as to save one life is to save all of humanity”.

The main purpose of this collaboration is to conduct free heart surgeries of the deserving children who are suffering from heart defects across Pakistan. Both the organizations are determined to provide increasing access to pediatric cardiac care to the poor families for the well-being of their children.

This amazing collaboration is just the beginning towards helping the infants born with heart disease. Both the organizations wish to reach thousands of pediatric patients across the country and provide them best surgical treatment irrespective of their financial means.
