Healthcare is a basic human right which determines one’s physical and mental well-being and survival. So, healthcare should be accessible for all and must not be treated as a commodity.
At this moment, the Pakistani Healthcare system is flawed and has many problems. However, reforming it cannot happen overnight and it will get challenging as many private hospitals and pharmaceutical industries are involved in it.
Our culture and mindset also need to change which can only happen if we are willing to change ourselves. We need to overcome our lust and greed and learn to appreciate the humanity of human beings instead of dehumanizing them. List of Top 10 Humanitarian Organizations Providing Free Medical Care to People in Need in Pakistan
Money, wealth or other materialistic stuff cannot be more precious than human life and its existence. It is really inhumane to throw away a seriously ill patient out of the emergency ward, just because they do not have a single penny to pay for the medical treatment and let them die in sickness on the streets.
Humanitarian organizations are making a difference in our faulted healthcare system, by taking care of sick children and adults and giving them healthcare services for free.
When most hospitals and clinics are closed for the poor, leaving them to die from diseases, trauma and other health complications, humanitarian organizations have come as their biggest hope.
Healthcare is not a privilege but one of our basic human rights. Even the poorest among us deserve dignity and the right to stand equal.
I couldn’t believe that even in Pakistan, there can be a website like this. This is really incredible and thanks for sharing such an amazing stores.
