Major Signs of Heart Attack in Men

A heart attack occurs when the flow of oxygen and blood to the heart muscles is blocked. Every year thousands of people die in Pakistan due to heart attack. They either realize the signs too late or they don’t have access to good medical facilities. There are a number of causes of heart attack in men. The major factors are hypertension, diabetes, smoking, obesity and poor diet. Stress due to job or family issues also contributes towards heart attack.

Heart attack comes with warning signs. • Other signs: Other signs may include heartburn, excessive sweating, nausea, and lightheadedness.

“I felt like I was flying high in the sky while driving bike,” said one of the patients who had heart attack while he was driving on the road. He found himself in the hospital later with an oxygen mask and pressure in chest. Although the discomfort in chest in men is the most common sign of heart attack, you may not have chest pain at all or experience only mild discomfort. Some people may experience 1 or 2 signs while other may suffer from all.
